So far this term, 5/6 Windradyne has been learning about the environment and the important role we all play in looking after it. We’ve explored the different ways our environment is impacted by human activity, as well as practical steps we can take, both big and small, to help care for our planet. Alongside this, our class has been learning about reconciliation, including what it means and why it matters. We’ve had thoughtful discussions about Australia's shared history and explored how symbolism can be used to represent reconciliation and respect for First Nations cultures. It’s been inspiring to see the students reflect on these important topics and express their ideas through a range of creative and meaningful activities.
