Dear Parents & Carers,

In the coming weeks we are hoping to see the start of the school upgrade with the refurbishment of the school canteen (minor work) and blocks G & H. The removal of a couple of demountables in preparation for the school build will also take place. We are likely to see a small reduction of our asphalt area whilst the work is being completed. Some fencing will be set up around G & H blocks during this time. The work should be completed by the end of the term. Once completed 1 Wirambi will be relocated to a new refurbished classroom in H Block for the rest of the year.

I hope you all enjoyed reading and found our new ‘All About Stage….’ handout informative. It was sent home last week. At the start of each term we will send home a handout from each stage so parents and carers are informed about learning and events for the upcoming term.

Thank you to the parents and carers who came along and supported our students at the Years 3-6 Cross Country last week. Our Zone Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 4th June at Greystanes Sports Ground.

We ask that all parents and carers please obey the road rules when dropping and picking up your children so that we keep all our children safe. Council has received reports from the local community regarding motorist failing to stop at the signposted intersection at Albert Street East And Brabyn Street. Remember when crossing the road to always hold your child’s hand to keep them safe as young children are still learning about road safety.
