K/1 Gilbanung have had an extremely busy start to term 2! In mathematics we have been learning about time. Our Kinder students are learning to sequence the days of the week and identify activities and events that occur on certain days. The Year 1's have been learning to read an analogue clock and to tell the time using the language 'o'clock and half past.

Our enthusiastic K/1 learners have been diving into the world of informative texts—and what better way to explore than by learning about something magical: unicorns! Students are discovering the difference between fact and fiction, asking curious questions, and exploring how writers teach us about the world. Whether it’s through colorful books, fun videos, or class discussions, we are growing as readers, thinkers, and researchers. Learning truly is magical in K/1Gilbanung!
