On Tuesday 25th March 2025, Parramatta East Public School came alive with vibrant colours and joyous celebrations in honour of Harmony Day. Students embraced the theme of unity and cultural diversity by dressing in stunning cultural costumes or the bright, cheerful colour orange, symbolising harmony and inclusivity.

Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of activities designed to celebrate their own cultures while learning about those of others. From sharing stories and traditions to discovering new customs, the event fostered a sense of community and mutual respect among all.

The highlight of the day was when classes came together to write a Harmony Day pledge, a collective promise to continue embracing diversity, promoting inclusion, and respecting one another. It was a wonderful reminder that every culture brings something special to our school community.

It was a fantastic day of learning, sharing, and celebrating our differences—helping to strengthen the values of respect and friendship within our school.
