Students in 5/6 Windradyne have been learning about belonging and how people might feel when they do not belong. From reading "The Lost Thing" by Shaun Tan, we explored how the main character felt throughout his journey of finding a place to be happy. We learnt about how others treated our main character because of his appearance and how he communicated with others. Students then had an opportunity to create their own version of "The Lost Thing".
