It has been a busy term for 1-2 Gudugulung already. We have been busy with learning lots of new things. 

Our writing has been focused on the imaginative text Jack and the Grizzly Giant. We have had lots of fun learning about Onomatopoeia, Adverbs and writing Dialogue between characters using speech marks. 

In Mathematics we have been learning about place value, number lines, mass and 2D shapes. We have drawn number lines to add and subtract large numbers. Our teachers were very impressed at our skills as Mathematicians when we discussed how we got our answers. 

Last week we had a wonderful geography excursion where we got to learn about places, maps and animals that share our environment.
