This year, PEPS has participated in the Year 5 & 6 Premier's Debating Challenge. Our debating team (Khadijah, Scarlett, Harshika, Oliver. L, Samreen, Emma, Samaira, and Raya) have been working hard and giving up a lunchtime once a week to learn about debating. 

The results of our efforts are much better than we expected given that we are all first-time debaters!  Our debating team has never failed to win a debate - winning all four rounds in our zone.  As we have been undefeated, we have been named zone champions. This means we will now progress to the knockout finals competing against winning teams from other zones.

It has been so fun to collaborate and learn new skills in debating with our team members, and this great teamwork will help us in the next step of the competition. We can’t wait to see how we go in our next debate!
