Stage 3 Camp
From 6–8 August, our Year 5 and 6 students swapped homework for adventure at the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Lake Macquarie. Over three days, we got to try all sorts of awesome activities. We paddled our canoes across the lake, aimed for the bullseye in archery, climbed to the top of the rock wall (which felt a lot higher when you were on it!) and challenged ourselves on the high ropes course. At night, we relaxed around the campfire and shared stories under the stars. We even learned some survival skills, like how to build a shelter and find things in nature that can help you. By the end, everyone was tired but happy and already wishing we could go back. You can also find more photos on the school's Facebook page.
