Term 2 has been a very busy and productive one and I wish all our families a very restful, safe and happy holidays as the term draws to an end on Friday.
Semester one reports for all students will be published through the parent portal this Friday July 5, 2024. Our students have worked extremely hard this semester and are to be commended on their efforts.
A huge congratulations to our Stage 3 students who ran a very successful and fun games day last week. I was very impressed by all the games that were created and the time and effort that was put into making sure our younger students had a fun day.
Just a reminder we are currently taking enrolments for Kindergarten 2025, so if you have a younger child starting school next year please complete an online enrolment now.
Lastly, do not forgot about our 75th Celebration that is happening on Friday 20th September. All donations are currently being accepted along with online orders being taken now as well. Get in early so you do not miss out.
Teachers return to school for a day of professional learning on Monday 22nd July and school resumes on Tuesday 23rd July for all students.
Kind regards,
Mrs Smith

We currently have ride wristbands and showbag pre-orders open for families! Don't forget to put in your pre-orders so your child doesn't miss out on the day!
Ride Wristbands
At the fete, there will be a variety of rides which will appeal to students of all ages. We will be using a wristband system to identify which students have paid for and can access rides on the day. Purchasing a pink wristband will give your child unlimited access to the rides for the whole day. There will also be a yellow ‘afternoon session’ wristband for any older siblings joining later in the day (3:30-5:30pm). At this stage, we are only taking pre-orders for the pink wristbands.
Wristbands will be distributed to students by their teacher on the morning of the celebration when the roll is marked. Students will not be able to access the rides without a wristband on the day.
Your wristband will allow you to enjoy the following rides:
- Giant Slide
- Spinning Cup and Saucers
- ‘Disco Show’
- Pirate Ship
- Swinging Chairs
- Inflatable Zoo Maze
Pink wristband – pre-order using the form below - $32 early bird price for unlimited ride access all day. Pink Wristbands will also be available to purchase on the day for $35.
Yellow wristband – purchase from school on the day - No pre-orders available - $10 for ride access between 3:30-5:30pm
Payment must be completed via the School Bytes Parent Portal by Friday 2nd August to secure the early bird pre-order price. Please place an order via School Bytes under the name of your eldest child at our school with the number of wristbands required for your family including any pre-school aged siblings. Include the names of each child in the order form below. Parents accompanying young children on rides will not require a wristband, as long as the child they are accompanying has a wristband.

On Wednesday, June 19th, Parramatta East Public School held an exciting Premier Spelling Bee contest, featuring class winners from Stage 2 and Stage 3. The competition was fierce as our young spellers stepped up to spell increasingly challenging words over multiple intense rounds per stage.
In Stage 2, Garikai Mahumani emerged victorious as our Junior Spelling Bee Champion, showcasing impressive linguistic skills and composure under pressure. Due to Garikai's upcoming departure from the school, our runner-up, Samuel Jadhav, will be taking his place. Meanwhile, in Stage 3, Rishabh Kandu claimed the title of Senior Spelling Bee Champion after a closely contested battle of wits.
We are incredibly proud of all participants who displayed confidence, composure and determination throughout the competition. Their hard work and dedication paid off, making this event a nail-biting testament to their academic achievements.
The audience played a crucial role, showing unwavering support and respect for our spellers, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Once again congratulations to all participants and congratulations to our School Premier’s Spelling Bee champions!
Miss Benson
Thank you to all the students who participated in our Game Day on Thursday 27th June. Year 5 and Year 6 students had a wonderful time entertaining PEPS students with a wide variety of games. We had students who had hoop shooting challenges, trivia tasks, throwing challenges, and many more. We had lots of winners and even more happy memories and big smiles. Thank you to everyone who supported Year 6 in purchasing a pack as well, with all the of money going towards their Year 6 Farewell.
